Temple Judea’s Sisterhood brought the energy, the laughter, and the tiles as over 150 women gathered for the annual Card and Mah Jongg Party — a beloved celebration of friendship, fun, and community.
Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch while connecting with old friends and making new ones, all in the warm and welcoming spirit that defines Temple Judea’s Sisterhood. The event was chaired by Melanie Paulus, whose dedication and vision helped make the day a memorable success.
Temple Judea’s Sisterhood is one of the synagogue’s most vibrant organizations, with a membership of over 275 women. Beyond the fun and fellowship, the Sisterhood plays a vital role in supporting the temple community — funding scholarships for children who might not otherwise be able to afford a bar or bat mitzvah, attend Jewish summer camps, and other needs of the temple.
“Events like this remind us why Sisterhood matters,” said Sisterhood President Marilyn Schwartz. “We come together, we support each other, and we support our community.”
