Jewish community leaders from across Palm Beach County gathered last month at Temple Torat Emet in Boynton Beach for the 36th annual Israel Bonds Sermon Seminar, a longstanding tradition that helps local rabbis prepare for the High Holy Days and engage their congregations in conversations about Israel.
Hosted in partnership with the Palm Beach County Board of Rabbis, the seminar brought together rabbis and Jewish communal leaders to exchange ideas for High Holy Day sermons and discuss support for Israel.
The conversation was led by Rabbi Steven Moss of Temple Sinai of Palm Beach County and Marci Bloch of Trustbridge, co-presidents of the Palm Beach County Board of Rabbis.
“Israel Bonds has been far more than an organization that supports Israel financially. They have been true partners in strengthening Jewish life in our community,” said Bloch. “They consistently provide our rabbis with meaningful resources and guidance that help us educate and inspire our congregations while deepening their connection to Israel.”
Mark Ruben, Israel Bonds executive director for Palm Beach County, provided an update on the local Israel Bonds campaign and shared resources about Israel and Israel Bonds.
The annual seminar reflects the long-standing relationship between Israel Bonds and the Palm Beach County Board of Rabbis, as well as their continued commitment to strengthening Jewish life and connection to Israel throughout the region.
