
Temple Beth El will host a culturally immersive experience featuring four-time Grammy-Award winning artist Tomasito Cruz at the Beth El Center for Jewish Life in West Palm Beach on October 11, 6-10 p.m.
Prepare to be transported to the vibrant atmosphere of Havana for an evening of fun, food, and a musical performance by master percussionist Cruz. Guests will enjoy Cuban-inspired cuisine and desserts, an open bar, classic cars, and more. Proceeds will benefit the Beth El Center for Jewish life and humanitarian relief for the people of Cuba.
Cruz, a native of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, has been recognized for his musical abilities since he was a small child. At 14 years of age, he was admitted to Escuela Nacional De Arte de Cuba, where he excelled and studied a variety of instruments. At age 19 he toured internationally with top Cuban band Paulito FG y Su Elite.
A Miami resident, Cruz has produced three best-selling international books of music.
