Summer at Chabad’s Camp Catan and Camp Gan Yisroel has been filled with creativity, friendship, and meaningful Jewish experiences.

At Camp Catan, the youngest campers explored the theme All About Me, discovering the uniqueness of every child. During Circle Time, they learned about their neshama (soul), their Jewish names, their talents, and the many wonderful things they can do with their bodies. The fun continued with hands-on projects including mirror crafts, creating their family homes, and even edible self-portraits. Of course, no Florida summer is complete without cooling off on the giant water slide and bounce house.

Camp Gan Yisroel immersed campers in the mitzvah of tzedakah, bringing the values of kindness, generosity, and caring for others to life through every activity. Campers enjoyed an action-packed program featuring watersports, Sky Zone, splash pad, science experiments, sports, baking, magic shows, and visits from community heroes. Creative Jewish-themed activities included shining coins and ice excavations, while a meaningful trip to donate clothing to Goodwill showed campers how they can make a difference in the lives of others.

Both camps concluded their programs with Jewish experiences including davening, challah baking, Shabbat celebrations, and memories shared with friends.
