Mishpacha presented Illuminate Autism with Adelphi University professor and autism expert Stephen Shore last month. Through an insightful and relatable presentation, Prof. Shore helped the community gain a deeper understanding of individuals on the autism spectrum and shared practical ways to foster a more inclusive and welcoming environment in homes, schools, and synagogues.
The evening sparked meaningful conversation and reflection, with attendees remaining after the program ended to ask questions and continue the discussion. It was inspiring to see the community come together with a shared desire to better understand and support one another.
