The Chabad of Palm Beach Gardens Men’s Club held a recent Birthday Farbrengen. After watching a short film about the importance of tefillin in one man’s U.S. military career and his connection to the Rebbe, approximately 35 men gathered for an evening of singing, conversation, and celebration.
The farbrengen quickly became a moving experience as the men shared stories of trials, tribulations, and triumphs that reflected profound levels of emunah (faith) and bitachon (trust), knowing that Hashem (God) is always with us. Each story was unique, yet they all shared a common theme: overcoming obstacles, roadblocks, and challenges that at the time seemed impossible to navigate. Looking back, the men were able to see how Hashem guided them through those difficult moments and helped them emerge stronger.
They spoke about the oys and joys of life and reflected on how the Chabad community and Hashem have helped them through difficult times and enabled them to celebrate the blessings and successes that followed.
