More than 100 members gathered at Eastpointe Country Club for Menorahs in Margaritaville, hosted by Temple Judea’s Sisterhood.
The festive evening featured delicious food, live music from a Jimmy Buffett tribute musician, and ample opportunity for guests to mingle and connect with friends old and new.
At the heart of the celebration, attendees came together to light the menorah, a powerful symbol of bringing light into the world during the eight sacred nights. The gathering served as a meaningful reminder of the Chanukah message — that even in challenging times, the Jewish community stands strong, proud, and unsilenced in the face of antisemitism.
“This celebration was about more than just coming together for a party,” said Marilyn Schwartz, Sisterhood president. “It was about affirming our presence, our traditions, and our commitment to shining our light brightly in the community.”
