Chabad of Singer Island, Juno Beach & the Beaches recently hosted an inspiring evening as the Jewish Women’s Circle gathered for a hands-on event celebrating the spirit of Chanukah. Participants came together to design and build marble-stone menorahs under the guidance of local artist Faith Schwack, transforming raw materials into elegant, personalized ritual pieces.
Set against the backdrop of community, laughter, and shared purpose, the workshop offered more than artistry. As the women polished and arranged the stones, Rebbetzin Tzivia Namdar led a reflective meditation, weaving in the spiritual teachings of Chanukah. She spoke about the festival’s enduring messages of resilience, hidden potential, and bringing light into dark places.
Attendees described the evening as both grounding and uplifting. Many noted that crafting their own menorahs brought a new layer of connection to the holiday, turning a symbolic object into a meaningful personal expression.
