JARC Florida, a Boca Raton-based nonprofit organization that provides programs and services to educate and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, has named Ward Childs chief operating officer. Childs brings more than three decades of leadership experience managing complex operations and building high-performing teams.
Throughout his career, Childs has developed a reputation as a collaborative and results-driven leader who brings teams together around a shared mission, vision, and values. His leadership approach emphasizes accountability, service, operational excellence, and a strong organizational culture. In his role as chief operating officer, Childs will help oversee JARC Florida’s day-to-day operations and support the organization as it continues to strengthen and expand its programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
